Renting a pontoon is the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon or evening with friends and loved ones in on Muskellunge Lake. We have boats that can accommodate from 8 - 15 adults comfortably (children of all ages included). Every boat has an overhead bimini top for shade and a stereo system complete with Bluetooth connectivity. Bring your favorite music and turn it up, or silently cruise the smooth 134 acres while you enjoy the quiet and peace.

Muskellunge Lake is great for fishing and tubing. Fish species include bluegill, sunfish, yellow perch, black crappie, largemouth bass, northern pike, stocked walleye, bullhead, rock bass, and dogfish - no muskellunge though. High-speed boating hours are between the hours of 11:00 am and 7:30 pm, for boater safety and to give fisherman calm, quiet evening waters in which to enjoy their sport.  The lake is patrolled by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and the Montcalm County Sheriff Department.

Feeling hungry? Trufant has two restaurants, with one being right on the water!  You are more than welcome to bring your own assortment of food and beverages onboard!

Reservations are recommended. We take reservations up to three months in advance and group bookings up to six months in advance. Last-minute and walk-in customers are always welcome (subject to availability).

You must be 25 years old to rent a pontoon.  

You must have prior boating experience.

Please park at the lower level of the restaurant.
